FREE FLIGHT AND THE PINK SQUADRON

Working with pale pink copy paper I am constructing a pink squadron of origami 'stackers'. Stackers look like little fighter planes and when one throws a stack of them into the air they fly off freely and randomly in all directions.

I chose pink as it's the colour of the 'white skin' of the original immigrants who came to Australia.

I am trying to create an ideal model of immigration where access is free and unfettered and the immigrants land lightly on the terrain with intent of settlement rather than conquest.

Conversely I want to examine the stereotypes which arise when the environment is such that immigrants must group together to survive.
